Low Tech recognizes the environmental damage done by High Tech through excessive use of resources, and has been applied to the circumstances of poverty-stricken areas, where it has been termed ‘alternative’, ‘intermediate’ and even ‘utopian’ technology… (Curl & Wilson, 2016)
