Refering to the two criminals crucified at the same time on either side of Jesus. The thieves became known as Dismas and Gestas. Dismas the good was on Jesus’ right-handside. Gestas is the older, twisted with hate and pain, and he looks away fromJesus. (Taylor, 2003)
