A specially shaped brick used as a voussoir in a brick arch; can be shaped by rubbing, molding or cutting. Also known as compass brick, featheredge brick, radial brick, radiating brick, radius brick, voussoir brick. 2. A hard, burned brick from the vault of a brick kiln, used for extra durability.
