In German, for group of architects founded by Bruno Taut, including Otto Bartning, Walter Gropius, Erich Mendelsohn, and Max Taut. Gropius took over leadership in 1919 and when he moved to the Weimar Bauhaus, the program there reflected the groups ideals; a fusion of the arts under the wing of architecture.
