Building Board of Appeals
Purpose: To consider appeals from the decisions of the officials charged with the enforcement of the construction and maintenance codes.
Established: Albion Code Section 18-337(c) defines the qualifications for board membership, which are more based on varieties of skill and experience than upon residency.
Membership: Five voting members to be appointed by the Mayor, confirmed by the City Council, and who are knowledgeable on building and housing matters.
Term: Five years
Meetings: On call, as needed
