Section 24 housing

Housing as provided for in Section 24 of the National Housing Act permits local public housing authorities to rent rehabilitated or new housing from nonprofit organizations at market rates and subsidizing the difference between this rental and subrental to low-income persons. (Ziegler, 1975)
