Bardiglio marble

A marble available in several varieties, generally having a bluish gray ground traversed by dark veins. It is quarried at Mont’s Alto in southern Tuscany. In one variety, Bardiglio Fiorito, the veining gives a fancied resemblance to flowers. (Saylor, 1952)
