Lozenge-fret of intersecting fillets or thin beads forming diamond-shaped patterns repeated in series. It occurs in Romanesque work as a variation on chevron or zig-zag moldings (using round rod-like elements) and in 18th c. Chinoiserie and Gothick (using flat strips, fillets, or square sections).
