An alphabet garden has the letters HCC presumably for Hershey Community College. Another promotes Hershey Cocoa with the smokestacks of the company in the background.

The Farmer’s Market was open the day we visited. There was a beautiful parklike setting beneath a substantial tree canopy. This lent itself to an enjoyable stroll despite the warmer weather.

Hershey Community Center Building

This five-story building designed by architect Paul Phillipe Cret was built between 1932 and 1933. Faced in Indiana limestone, the building houses the large Hershey Theater, a smaller theater, and a variety of recreational facilities including a gymnasium, swimming pool, game rooms, locker rooms, and showers. The building also has a library and dormitory space.

Session House

A restoration was completed in Summer 2010 when the house was placed within a glass enclosure. The Donald B. & Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation and the Hershey Trust Company were financial supporters of this project.
