Meander, or bandlike ornament of shallow short fillets touching each other at right angles. Other names include angular guilloche, Greek key, lattice, diamond fret, labyrinth fret (or labyrinth fret), labyrinthine fret, lozenge fret, diamond fret, and dovetail fret.
