Storefront – Heritage Brewing Co., Clarendon, Virginia

Heritage Brewing Co is a combination of brewery and coffee roaster in the downtown area of Clarendon, Virginia, not far from Washington, DC. Heritage has a handmade vibe to the decoration inside, the delicious food, and of course the beer combine together to create a wonderful experience for customers.

Barrels and the custom sidewalk sign provide a beer reference. The lack of outdoor tables or dining though limits the attractive power of the storefront to tell a story about what is happening inside.

Variety of string lighting and Edison bulbs create a warm ambiance.

This American flag on salvaged wood is a beautiful focal point and also ties into the Heritage brand, as well as the metro DC environ.

Family style bar table with metal stools below. Also copied on the bar to the side. Creates a second bar space for when crowds get large. When fewer people are present buffers the bar from the dining area.

Eclectic drop pendant lighting over the bar.

Custom bar shelves made from threaded pipe between large planks. Mounted on to brick wall with flanges.

Grab and go case on back wall with Heritage Brewing Co products. Would be more effective closer to cash wrap and front door. Here it is more of a brand reference than a retail space.

Clever bench created from repurposed whisky barrels. This creates an ergonomic-type curve for the back when seated.

Group of three framed pieces with menu on writable chalk board and framed in a contrasting color. Good way to highlight brewery brands.
