This building was originally constructed in 1910 to house the Albion chapter of the International Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge No.60. The club lodge was originally founded 5 November 1883. The ten charter members were: Orton Robinson, Clayton Dean, Wayne Edwards, Dewitt Foskit, George McCarty, and Henry Keck. It was in 1910 when they established the present building. Like many clubs from its time, the IOOF is no longer active, and the building has seen several tenants since their departure.
