This structure is one of the most recent additions to the historic downtown area. It was built in 1940 between two already existing structures.Until the late 1980’s it was occupied by J.C. Penny’s. Since being shut down, the largest display space in Albion has remained empty. The present owner of the building has attempted to maintain the roof to protect the property, but there is significant water damage on the second floor and in the basement.
