curved-front cottage

The circular shape is rarely a semicircle, but it is deep enough to serve as a bay window that may extend the full height of the façade. A few designs in this mode use twin bays. An extension of this kind of plan uses circular forms in the plan of the porch while leaving the facade walls flat.
