The Rev. Eugene F. Wilking is a native of Germany, where he received his education. After his graduation from High School, he took a pre-theological course for three years in southernGermany. After the completion of this course he enrolled as a student at the Theological Seminary at Basel, Switzerland, and completed his studies at the University of Halle in the spring of 1903. In the fall of the same year he came to America, and was ordainedOctober 2, 1903, at Dallas, Texas, where he worked for four years in the Home Mission Field. He came north in 1907, served various congregations in Illinois and Wisconsin, until he came to Albion, as pastor of the Evangelical Salem Church, December 1, 1930.
