Douglas Rose

Dr. Rose is a director of the choral ensembles and an assistant professor at Albion College. He was appointed as director in 1996 after recieving his D.M.A. from the State University of New York. In 1982 he recieved his B.A. in music education from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 1989 he recieved his M.M. and M.A. from Yale University. His professional experience includes two years with the Elmer Iseler Singers from 1984-1986 and a summer with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers in 1989.

Today he directs the Albion College Concert Choir and Briton Singers, and teaches a music appreciation class.
