Lynn Bogue Hunt, 1878

Was one of this country’s greatest periodical wildlife artists. An 1897 graduate of Albion High School, Hunt studied art at Albion College. He went on to draw wildlife scenes for the covers of national magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens, Colliers, Field and Stream, and the Saturday Evening Post. Hunt illustrated more than 50 books in his lifetime. He designed the 1939 Migratory Waterfowl stamp, 19 National Wildlife Federation stamps, and numerous works for Ducks Unlimited.
