Biography
Charles H. Held first came to Albion as a student in the fall of 1946. Following graduation in 1950 he earned a Masters degree at the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Wayne State University. Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Marines and tenure as a teacher at Fordson High in Dearborn, he returned to Albion in 1965 as a member of the Albion College faculty. His wife Nancy came to Albion as a faculty member in 1961. She and Chuck were married in 1967. They had two daughters Heidi (1970) and Kristin (1972).
