Isabell B. Dupark was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on March 6, 1901. She lived in the Albion and Jackson areas most of her life, moving to St. Petersburg, Florida, eight years before her death on September 27, 1973.
Isabell worked in the editorial department of the Albion Recorder. She was a life member and past president of the Albion Women’s Club and a member of the Jackson Questers and Antiques Collectors Club. Flowers and dogs were her most compelling interests. A member of the Michigan Judges Association, she judged flower shows, gave lectures, and designed floral arrangements and Christmas decorations. Isabell belonged to both the Albion Garden Club and the Jackson Flower Arrangement Club. She also raised and showed English setters, Afghan hounds, and poodles and judged dog shows all over the United States.
