Bradley, Hettie E. Warner, 1851
    Died April 21, 1897

Hettie E. Warner was born in Albion Township on November 5, 1851. She was one of eight children. Hettie attended the district school and Albion College, then taught for several years. She married Henry Bradley in 1873. They resided in Eckford Township and had six children.

Hettie had joined the Methodist Episcopal Church during a revival in Albion and later transferred her membership to Marengo, where she continued to be an active member. She was instrumental in founding the Eckford Literary Society and was also an active member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, which she called “organized mother love.” Hettie died while visiting at the home of her mother, Maria J. Warner, in Albion on April 21, 1897.
