    Died May 28, 1939

Carrie Bolster, originally from the eastern United States, was born on July 5, 1862. She was a piano teacher in Albion for many years, teaching from the 1890s up until a few years before her death.

A member of the E.L.T. Club, she presented her grand piano to that organization when she no longer needed it. That piano, now in the Naomi Lane Room of the Albion Public Library, is tuned each year with funds from the E.L.T. Club. Carrie passed away on May 28, 1939.
