Architecture
T-shaped, one-and-one-half story building with cross gable roof and a flat roof, one-story ell. Core building has parallel orientation with a slightly off center garage door. Corners are marked by brick pilasters. Windows are one-over-one with segmental arches. Rear arm of building is pierced by a large garage door. The ell is pierced by an entry door and large flanking window, both with stone lintels. The cornice has brick dentils.

Description
Originally site of the City Water Works. During the 1970’s, a community recyclingcenter. The sign has been painted over, but traces of that sign can be stillseen on the wall facing Cass St.
City water works building. Shed in front with cupola likely housed equipment to pump water from the nearby Kalamazoo River.
