One story brick professional building.Constructed on angle facing intersection of Michigan Avenue and Clark Street. SymmetricalItalianate facade. Gently raked asphalt shingle roof broken by pediment andporch. Projecting entrance way and central section of building, with small entryporch, flanking windows, and flanking electric lit lanterns. Porch projectingover entranceway supported by simple Ionic columns and flat overhanging roofwith bracketed cornice. Door with unequal sized segmented windows and transomoverhead. Round covered vent on center of pediment over porch. Window flankingrecessed wall on each side of porch. Facing Michigan Avenue, a formerthoroughfare between Detroit and Chicago, replaced by Interstate 94 in 1960.
