Storefront in rear of 100-102 S. Superior St,facing Cass St. Originally this part of Cass St. contained heavy industry, laterthe city acquired nearby land and built a Fire Department and Police Station onthe south side of the street, then a City Hall onthe north side of the street. The Fire and Police stations were subsequentlydemolished and today a municipal parking lot is in their place. 109 W. Cass isone of the last remaining storefronts along Cass St.
