Clarence Bemer started the Albion High School Orchestra when he was 15 or 16. His father William Bemer was longtime City Assessor and mayor for a year. Clarence toured with F. Dudleigh Vernor, singing the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi song that Dudleigh and Byron Stokes composed.
Clarence’s son Robert Bemer, went on to become a distinguished Computer Software Consultant and Futurist.
